Judges Abdulrazak Gurnah, Claire Adam and Annalena McAfee announce the shortlist for the 2023 Deborah Rogers Foundation Writers Award

  • Three are chosen out of 864 entries
  • The shortlist was chosen from a longlist of nine submissions
  • Winner to be announced by Abdulrazak Gurnah at The Bindery, London on Thursday 9 November where Ian McEwan will speak about the DRF
  • Winner receives £10,000: two runners up £1,000 each
